Terms & Cancellation

1. Services

These terms apply to mixing, mastering, production, editing, vocal tuning, drum alignment, synth work and related audio-production services purchased from Mproductions.

2. Price and the 50/50 payment plan

• The website shows the full project price before checkout, including any multi-track discount.
• 50% of that full project price is payable when the booking is made.
• The remaining 50% is only due after the first revision if the client chooses to continue.
• If the client chooses to continue, Mproductions emails the balance-payment link to the email address supplied at Stripe checkout.
• The client makes the second payment themselves through Stripe. Mproductions does not automatically debit the remaining balance.
• The second payment completes payment for the originally agreed project, unless the client later requests additional work outside the original scope.

3. Email and payment information

Stripe Checkout asks for the client's email address before payment details. Mproductions uses the booking email for payment administration, project communication and, where appropriate, sending the remaining 50% payment link after the first revision. Mproductions does not receive or store the client's full card number.

4. First revision and continuation

The first revision is the decision point for the second payment. After receiving it, the client can either continue or stop.

• Continue: the client confirms they wish to continue and pays the remaining 50% using the Stripe link sent by Mproductions.
• Stop: the client does not make the second payment. Any refund due from the initial 50% is determined by these terms and applicable consumer law, including the work already carried out.

5. Consumer cancellation rights

If the client is contracting as a consumer online, statutory cancellation rights may apply, including a 14-day cancellation period in relevant circumstances. If the client expressly asks Mproductions to begin work during that cancellation period and later cancels after work has begun, the client may have to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied, as permitted by law.

These terms do not remove or reduce any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Deposit and refunds

The initial 50% is part-payment toward the agreed project and is not described as automatically non-refundable in every situation. Where a cancellation or refund request is made, the amount due back will depend on the circumstances, applicable law and the amount of work already performed.

7. Revisions and changes of scope

The selected package includes the stated number of revisions. A revision means a reasonable set of changes within the agreed project direction. Replacement recordings, a substantially changed brief, new production requirements or significant additional work can require a separate quote.

8. Turnaround and client materials

Typical delivery is usually within two weeks, but timing can vary according to project size, response times, technical issues and revision requests. The client confirms that they have the right to provide the recordings, stems, samples and other materials supplied to Mproductions.

9. Final delivery

Where the client chooses to continue after the first revision, final approved masters and final production deliverables are released after the project is complete and all amounts due for the agreed project have been paid.

10. How to cancel

12. Website accounts

Mproductions may offer optional website accounts. Account authentication is provided through Supabase. When a client creates an account, the account service stores information such as the name and email address supplied for login and account identification.

The website may keep a signed-in session on the client’s device so the client does not need to sign in on every visit. Clients can sign out at any time from the account page. Account details are separate from Stripe card data; Mproductions does not receive or store a client’s full card number through the website account system.

Membership

Mproductions Membership is available as either £13 per month or £100 per year. Monthly membership renews monthly and yearly membership renews annually until cancelled.

Paying monthly for 12 months costs £156. The £100 yearly option saves £56 over the same 12-month period, making the yearly option 35.9% cheaper than paying monthly for a full year.

While membership is active, released Mproductions sample packs are included at no additional charge. Members also receive 5% off package pricing, plus an additional 2% member discount for every extra song in the same package. This member multi-song discount is added on top of the standard 2% per-extra-song quantity discount.

For example, a 10-song member order receives a 41% total package discount: 18% standard quantity discount + 18% additional member multi-song discount + 5% membership discount.

Membership benefits apply only while the subscription is active or trialing. If a payment fails or the membership ends, member-only pricing and sample access can be suspended. Existing paid project bookings remain governed by the price and terms accepted when they were booked.

To cancel a membership, contact Mproductions before the next renewal. Cancellation does not automatically refund a subscription period already paid except where required by law.

Sample packs and digital downloads

Mproductions may sell downloadable sample packs separately from production services. The Nova Kit Pack is currently priced at £8 as a one-time digital purchase and is included at no additional charge while an Mproductions membership is active.

Sample-pack purchases provide a personal licence to use the supplied sounds in the purchaser’s own music and productions. The purchaser must not resell, redistribute, repackage or share the sample files as a standalone sample library.

Where digital content is supplied immediately, cancellation and refund rights can differ from service bookings. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Referral Rewards

Signed-in Mproductions customers may receive a personal referral link. When a referred customer uses that link and completes their first qualifying paid Mproductions purchase through the referral, the referring customer can receive £10 of Mproductions studio credit.

Referral credit is not cash, is not transferable and has no cash redemption value. One referral reward is available per referred customer. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, £0 checkouts, cancelled or refunded transactions, fraudulent activity and other attempts to manipulate the programme do not qualify.

Mproductions may reverse referral credit where the qualifying payment is refunded, disputed or charged back, and may pause or change the referral programme where reasonably necessary. Existing valid credit will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
